If you enjoy having a a drink every so often, leave your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your evening bag, your money belt, and leave all money, credit cards and checks at home. Take only the cash you intend to spend on drinks, tips and few dollars you expect to lose and keep the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Just realistic. You could experience a win following a drunken night out with your comrades and be lucky sufficiently to catch a long roll at a hot craps table. Don’t forget that story considering that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and bet. The pair just do not mix.
Keeping your moola at home is a bit excessive, but preventative actions for excessive behavior is necessary. If you wager to win, then don’t drink and gamble. If you are able to afford to blow your assets without a concern, then consume all the free alcohol you can handle, but do not carry plastic credit and checks to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your befuddled self loses every little thing!
Permit me to take this one step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump on the web to bet in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a drink from the coziness of my abode, but since I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can not consume alcohol and gamble.
How come? Although I don’t drink to excess, once I consume alcohol, it is absolutely adequate to befuddle my common sense. I bet, so I do not consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet when you do. Both create an awful, and expensive, cocktail.
