Until not many years ago, I used to live just a short 90 min travel away from Atlantic City. It was no big ordeal for me to jump in my vehicle on Fridays and visit the Strip for a while. I was able to gamble whenever I wanted, and really I became a bit tainted in that respect. After all, there is very little like being able to bet on chemin de fer, craps, poker, or slot machines anytime the hankering hits!
