Iowa Casinos

There are a number casinos in the commonwealth, the biggest number being on immobilized river boats. The largest of the Iowa casinos is the Meswaki Bingo Casino Hotel, an Amerindian gambling den in Tama, with 127,669 sq.ft. of gaming area, 1,500 one armed bandits, thirty table games, like twenty-one, craps, roulette, and baccarat, and several types of poker; also three dining rooms, monthly shows, and betting advice. There are several other dominant Iowa gambling halls, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 one armed bandits, and 39 table games.

A tinier Iowa casino is the Diamond Jo, a river based gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 one armed bandits, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend river based, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 one armed bandits, and 14 table games. An additional Iowa water based casino, The Isle of Capri, is open all day and night, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 slot machines, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot water based gambling hall in Clinton, has 506 one armed bandits, 14 table games, live productions, and Thursday 21 matches.

Iowa casinos provide an excellent deal of tax income to the government of Iowa, which has allowed the funding of a good many state wide projects. Vacationers have grown at a fast rate accompanied with the request for companies and an increase in employment. Iowa gambling halls have been helpful to the growth of the economy, and the excitement for wagering in Iowa is widespread.
